The internship offers practical exposure to litigation practice through extensive legal research, an in-depth understanding of procedural law, and drafting assignments based on the applicant’s level of experience. Interns are expected to understand assigned tasks with precision, quickly grasp legal issues, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
1) Conduct extensive legal research using SCC Online and Manupatra.
2) Develop an understanding of procedural law.
3) Undertake drafting assignments commensurate with the applicant’s level of experience.
4) Assist with assigned litigation-related work.
1) Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law programme.
2) Students at the equivalent stage of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
3) Excellent command of spoken and written English.
4) Genuine interest in developing a strong foundation in litigation practice.
5) Sound understanding of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
6) Familiarity with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 will be an added advantage.
